Last hurrah

Whilst gazing upon the cauldron one last time on Friday, one of the torch relay runners was hanging around, posing for photos with passer-by.

One of the Cultural Olympiad events was a dance troupe on belaying ropes, high up on the walls of the library. They started at the top, and to the accompaniment of live orchestral music, made their way down, moving to the music, and jumping away from the wall, over (or rather, around) each other. Quite amazing to watch! Some members of the audience would tilt their heads, to pretend the dancers were performing on the floor. They did it on three different locations around the library.

Very cool. Whatever will you post about now that the Olympics are over?!

Um, nothing? ;-)

We'll see what else comes along, or what challenges L has for us! (note the word 'us', Sheri-Lee?)
