Market and Seminary

Yesterday we went to an old-time public market in the old city, complete with demonstrations of crafts, samples of bread baked in a stone oven, and a military display.

In the afternoon, we took a tour of the Grande Seminaire de Montreal, a Catholic seminary near our place.
The chapel is a stunning and unique space - the pews are lined up along the side, in order to enhance the acoustics for their gregorian chants.

It's buildings like these that make me want to become a Catholic. :) Lovely pictures.
