This past weekend we met up with friends who took us touring around the west end of the island, a bit of a market, and then a ferry ride over the river to Oka, where we went apple picking in an orchard.
It was a long walk out to the far end of the orchard, but it was well Worth It™, and we got a ride back on the tractor & trailer. Not to mention it was perfect weather!
It was incredible to see how loaded those trees were!!! We got McIntosh and Courtland, some of which have been made into apple crisp, and thoroughly enjoyed!
Sunday we went down to the Old Port, where there were a few tall ships in for a visit. And tons of people were there to see them.

Those apples do look good. We have our share of apples too, but sadly, no ferries or tall ships.
You are definitely taking advantage of everything Montreal has to offer!! That's awesome! Jim
Ditto Jim! Talk about cramming a life time into twelve months!
