On Friday, we went to cheer on my office in a friendly game of hockey - the architects against the engineers. My (Montreal) boss and a few co-workers were playing. It was a good game, but the engineers prevailed in this, the 2nd of a best of 3 series. They're tied now at one game each - the next one will be a nail-biter! Jenn and I were shooting, and I just happened to capture one of our team's goals! Note the little black smudge at the left side of the net, and the water bottle leaping in the air. What luck!
The game was played at the rink where the Canadiens practice. A very cool opportunity for these guys & girls!

The park near our place, shot through the brick wall surrounding it.

Some of the charming places across the street, and reportedly where Mrs. Dean (the last survivor of the Titanic) lived for a time.

This is me, out for a casual ride with my pals. Why am I wearing jeans? Why is the lighting so completely odd? Why doesn't my bike have pedals? So many questions...
At the bike show last weekend, they had a photo booth with a green-screen, to let us average folk pretend to be riding with the pros. Or you can just believe that I was really there.
