Mom & Dad part 2

I got another chance to see my parents, when they returned from their cruise - I took the day off, and Jenn and I picked them up at the terminal, then while Jenn had some work to do, I took them up to Queen Elizabeth Park, to enjoy the gardens.  Although there was a light drizzle most of the time, it was beautiful up there.

Mom was quite taken with the Chinese dogwood blossoms - huge and beautiful!

We joined the bronze statues for a photo with a gorgeous view of the city, though not that day.

After dropping them off at the airport, Jenn and I went to meet the rest of the cruise group (who were flying out the next day) for dinner at their hotel - and had a great time!  It was good to see them all.

Yesterday Jenn and I saw plants of another kind - painted on a wall at the hospital - kind of a clever way to break up the stark wall!

And some lichen on the back of a bench - so fluorescent.

The best part about drizzly days is the lighting for pictures. :)

P.S. I never realized how much Ellen looks like her mom. Lovely ladies.
