Christmas Market (2nd annual visit)

We visited the German Christmas Market on Sunday.  Last year we saw it at night - it was nice during the day too!  I enjoyed a hearty ham & cheese spätzle (noodles), while Jenn had a bratwurst.

These kids did great on their violins!

Got the carousel horses this time!

Ellen, this one's for you - some good cider!

I love Christkindlmarkdt! Too bad you had the kinderpunsch (cider) instead of the gluwein (mulled wine). :)

Is there an option to put a deposit on the mug and return it? I love the Germans for that (you can, of course, purchase the mug too...a lot of people collect the mugs).

Frohe Weihnachten!

We did have the cider with extra warming ingredients. There's a $2 deposit on the mugs, and that lets you keep them if you choose.

Lovely. And the extra warming bit makes it no longer kinderpunsch. :)
