City Square Mall. There are two old schools, built in 1905 and 1908, with a new addition joining them and adding in behind them, built in 1989. It's occupied by a Safeway, a modeling school, a bunch of small shops, and offices.
Today's bonus shot, while downtown donating blood - the Vancouver Club, an "old boy's" men's club built in 1912. Looks suitably impressive.

I like the first picture - it looks fish eye lens or whatever - although it's old meets new in regards adding on. Although it dos look nice.
I've been in that modeling school as a human canvas for a friend in make up for film. She painted a scene from...galaxy, fish, weird sci fi author dude...I forget. Anyway, she painted it on my back.
Daniel, I'm pooped. I have no energy to write a story tonight. I'm disappointed because I have my wee charges for 24 hrs a day, 5 days in a row starting on Saturday and it was my plan to bring them to the island for the weekend and I had all kinds of fun things planned and now my employer thinks it will be "too disruptive" for them not to be in their own environment. I'm working 50 hours until Fri, and now I won't even be home. Ugh. Did you really want to hear all that??? And my husband is not even home tonight as he is working late at a wine festival and staying in the city! Boo hoo, poor me.
Okay, I've vented. I'm done. I will complain no more.
Hi Jenn! I need your silliness!
I'm going to bed.
