Photo Walk

Every so often, a guy at the office organizes a "photo walk" at lunch-time, where a group will get together (about 8 of us last time), and he'll give us a few photography tips (like: be aware of your background), and give us 3 themes to shoot for as we walk around a few blocks near the office. Each participant submits up to 5 of each category, and a few other people from the office will act as judges, and pick the best one of the bunch in each category.

We had one on Friday, and the themes were: "parallel", "yellow", and "water-works". The judging will happen tomorrow. Here are some that I came up with:

It's always fun to be challenged in specific ways like that, and we all enjoy it a lot!

Friday night we finally got some (much needed) snow up on the mountains, so I headed up on Saturday morning for some snowboarding. There was about a foot of the lightest, fluffiest snow that we ever see! Nice! We even got a little bit of snow in the city. Not quite as light and fluffy though. They're predicting more snow all this week.

I like your "yellow"! Very nice work on your photos. What do you win?

Hooray for snow and snowboarding!
