I finished up my time in Montreal on Thursday, flying out after work that day.
Before that, my evenings were spent finding someplace to eat (mmmm! smoked meat grilled cheese sandwiches!), and wandering around, taking in the sights. This is a spa, on a barge in the river - nice and colourful!

This is what the project looks like now - it will be two stories taller than the part at far left, and there's another building behind that, that's furthest along to completion:
I had the chance to tour this building on Thursday - it was very rewarding to see the result of what I've been working on for so long!
This is the large atrium between the two wings of the building - I almost had a fit when I saw the photos of this - I thought they had eliminated the interior windows! But I was reassured that they had just built these walls to close it in for the winter, and would be cutting the openings later. Whew!
I'm taking a lot of flak for this from my dear wife, and apparently my brothers-in-law are equally skeptical, but while flying home, it was a perfectly clear night, and I was able to spot my parents' home, from 32,000 feet in the air! This is the best shot I could take, with my little camera (it's a slight double-exposure), but the real view was nice and crisp and clear! Seriously.

On Saturday, after a day of recovery on Friday, I got back up to the slopes, on a day of gorgeous sunshine, with still another layer of fresh snow! This is a little knoll just at the edge of the resort, where a few minutes of climbing gives a nice reward of a few good turns in untouched powder - I got the first and second runs, before other people started following me. If you click on the photo, you can just make out my tracks up and down.

I wonder where that port-a-potty landed?
Your skiing pictures always make me jealous.
Happy Easter to you and Jenn.

Those skiing pics are awesome. Makes me want to go so badly. I bet going down those fresh powder runs was a lot more fun than going up!
