It's the petri dish building! I really do love buildings. I just joined the "Stop Demolition by Neglect of Winnipeg's Heritage Buildings" Facebook group. Not exactly a catchy title, but I guess their passion lies in historic buildings, not catchy slogans.
Ellen, I read an article about 'demolition by neglect' in Readers Digest [bracing for scorn from the literati] this very morning!! Didn't mention the Facebook group, but used that term, and talked about what's going on in heritage preservation in a number of cities across Canada.
