EC #14

Does this pass inspection Ellen? It's sort of depressing - we've nearly reached capacity for our phone system at the office, so we're looking at what we need to spend to replace it. A little more than a cat's overnight stay at the hospital, that's for sure...

Oh, boo, Dan, cheap shot! (OK, maybe "cheap" is not the operative word here.) At least you don't have to pay for it out of your own pocket (read "Visa")--unless you work for a really mean firm. In which case, you should really lobby for a Louis Riel/Family Day.

No no! Julie, it wasn't meant as a cheap shot! Only as a comparison to something current and painful! We know all about cat hospital expenses - our dear little (and that's only in comparison to, say, a lion) cat was hit by a car, and was in hospital for a few days. I think we're still paying for it...

Ah, in that case you truly have my sympathies. Maybe one of Ellen's three children should become a vet with satellite hospitals in Vancouver and Ottawa, to cut all us cat people some slack on the "professional attention" fees. Maybe Neve? She seems to like poky puppies and knuffle bunnies, so felines shouldn't be such a stretch.

Yeah! This picture is more like it!! Perfect! Love the plywood and the wires. Not a mountain to be seen anywhere.

You may not want to bank on the vet plan. My children are all a bit frightened of animals. They get that from their parents. I'm scared of the dog next door and it's a Golden Doodle.

Ellen, you're scared of Finches for heaven's sakes.

Not a very exciting picture Dan. Never mind Ellen. Go back to the mountains and oceans!!!
