Cultural Olympiad

Part of the 'extras' of the Olympics is the cultural elements - here's an intresting installation at the Central Library. There are cameras watching the people in the main concourse, and computers processing the images into several fascinating images, showing the streams of people as streaks of colour.

I love all this Olympic stuff!! I think you should do the zipline. Get up early and be first in line one day!

People start lining up at 6am. It opens at 9am, by which time the lineup is 4 hours, and sounds like it stays that way for the day. Not sure 23 seconds is worth that!

I don't much like standing in line, which is a major damper on seeing stuff. I'm kinda hoping other people will get tired of it too, and the lines will get shorter.

Maybe you could just park your volunteer vehicle in the line while you wait for your next pick up.
