Waiting...

The theme of my volunteer experience, for now, seems to be "Waiting". Check in at the transportation tent, wait for a car, which can take a couple of hours, and then wait in line at the venue or hotel where I'm stationed for the shift. Thankfully, today turned out to be a lot busier than any of my shifts so far. Makes it a lot more interesting! No famous people in my car today, but lots of very nice friendly people, from places like Belgium, Switzerland, Russia, and Brazil. Everyone has been very complimentary about the event, and are enjoying themselves immensly! Always nice to hear.

So are you getting a lot of reading done a la the chauffeur in "Sabrina"?

Lots of reading - currently on David Baldacci's 'Cotton Club' series.
