Yarn and Snow

One of the store windows on Granville Street has this bit of knitting on display.

For scale, look at the clothes on the stands next to it - that's human size.

Jenn says "imagine turning the heel on that".

Today I got up for my first day of snowboarding this winter, and immensely enjoyed the new high-speed chairlift, and the plentiful fresh snow!! In the past week, there was around 4 feet of fresh snow, with another 2 - 3 inches overnight and during the day. It was beautiful!!!

That's the ski patrol's shelter in the distance - it's always amazing to see that thing at the end of the season, buried in snow up to the top - I'll try to remember to show it every once in a while through the season.
