Cherry blossom ride

It was such a gorgeous day today that I just had to go for a nice long bike ride, especially since the cherry blossoms have really come out in the last few days.

I ended up at the school that I'm working on - we're keeping the red brick building, built in 1914, and knocking down the building to the right, as well as two more further to the right, and replacing them with new, more useful (and more earthquake resistant) buildings.

The blossom pictures are just too beautiful!! I can't even imagine being without snow here....winter just doesn't want to leave! Please bring some of your weather next weekend!

Yes, prepare thyself--your doom awaits. It's -14 (feels like -20) here this morning. This is not an April Fool's joke.

I am very interested to see pictures of the school building when it's done.

How did I miss this post? You probably thought I was ignoring you for posting things like this. I have to say those blossoms are amazing in the pictures; I can't even imagine what it would be like in real life! And that school is awesome - so glad you're saving the red part.
