While the sun shines

It was a gorgeous day yesterday (Sunday), so I hopped on my bike, and  went for a nice 15 mile ride along the Central Valley Greenway, which runs along the other Skytrain route than I took last May.

Along the way, I stopped off at an art school, where there were all sorts of bits of sculpture laying around.  This looks like a picnic table that you peddle along the tracks, with a giant gramophone for entertainment.

The East Van(couver) marker.  Somewhat reminiscent of the cross on top of Mont Royal in Montreal!

Lots of great views of the Skytrain and train tracks.

A beautiful little creek running alongside an industrial area - very peaceful!

Kayakers enjoying the gently drifting flow.

And further along, there were some little rapids.  I think the kayakers had pulled out by then.

When I got to the end, I hopped on the Skytrain for the trip back.  Good fun!

The gramophone looks kind of like a funeral casket...creep factor in art for me. :)
