The Drive

A little bit of Christmas sight-seeing today:

First for a meander along Commercial Drive, where they had a few Christmassy things happening, though the rain really put a damper on it.

Some ice sculptures - Commercial Drive is known for its coffee, hence the mug.  Vancouver Opera had a few singers providing beautiful carolling!

Free horse-drawn carriage rides around a few blocks, complete with jingling bells.

The Home Hardware store had their trees piled on the roof!

Then it was off to the Hyatt hotel downtown, for a look at the gingerbread house contest.

Some gorgeously decorated houses!

And these little fellas, singing their hearts out!

Luckily it was in a tent, but it was dripping pretty much!

Looks summery out there. Blizzard out hers. Lots of snow shovelling! Jim
