And, just to give my neck (and yours) a break, looking down into it as well.

Dan, Just wanted to say how much I love all of your photography! So beautiful and interesting. My all time fave photo is that row of pretty houses from last month. I also always enjoy your comments on Ellen's blog.
You're welcome! Keep the photos coming. Just a small request...please don't start a Haiku challenge! I just don't have the heart to tell one of your family members that I'm not a fan. I just don't get it! A limerick challenge...I'd be all over that! :)
BTW...I always think of you as the cool uncle who gave the fabulous plates for kids to paint. And I believe...paintable rubber boots as well.

Thanks Darla! Glad you're enjoying this stuff!
That street of pretty houses is my favorite part of my ride home each day. Well, other than actually getting home. ;-)
I'm curious about that freaky metalman sculpture in the top photo--is it mounted on something, or suspended somehow?
That thing is kinda freaky, alright. It's standing on the floor, about 7 or 8 feet tall, looking down at me, wondering what I'm doing.
