The Vancouver Law Courts building. I was fully expecting to be challenged by some security officer who saw me on camera, but I guess they were busy with something else. Whew!

As always, interesting photos, Dan!! I was looking at cameras at Kerrisdale today. I'm ready to step from point and shoot to SLR...
I've been wondering if you were stuck on the island without electricity. Glad to see you back!
Good luck with the SLR thing. I feel that for myself, I'd rather stick with the P&S. It's light enough that I can carry it all the time, and am much more likely to take it out. But I really like the quality of an SLR. Someday maybe I'll use both. Just not now. If you do get it, you'd better start sharing a lot more photos!!
I'm looking at the Nikon D40...the camera dude said it is an easy step from PS to SLR, and it was very light and compact. As for sharing photos - are you kidding??? I'll be so freakin' excited, you will be inundated with them!!!
