True Randomness

Thought I'd post some snapshots that have gathered on my computer.

A canopy on a new building I pass by. It's a spinal cord research facility. The glass is still to be installed.

Sunlight playing on our toaster and two batches of fresh strawberry jam - is your mouth watering as much as mine?

An interesting construction project - they've dug out the ground floor, while keeping the rest of the structure above.

And kept the glass at the front, so we can watch from the sidewalk.

Look who's back! Love the shot of the toaster and jam - did Jenn make the jam? She is WAY more domestic than I ever thought. I'm realising that as I get to know her more. Are you away right now, or is Jenn?

Do NOT tell Jenn that you think she's domesticated - that's a sure way to wreck your friendship!! Yes, she made the jam, and she's away right now - she's back on Saturday - YAY!

I just started my new/old job on Monday, and then I'll be going to Manitoba 2nd week of August for a couple of weeks.

How's your summer going? Where are your pictures?!?!

Interesting photos, as always.

Would Jenn like "self-sufficient" better than "domesticated"? Everybody in B.C. seems to know how to live off the land. My mom's cousin & her family grow & sell organic veggies on Salt Spring Island, and Jer & Tannis in Summerland have a garden and an orchard from which they put up preserves.
