They've installed a display of the rings on a barge in Coal Harbour, visible from much of downtown and the north shore. This is the view from the office. Sad to think that it's this dark by 5pm.

What does the barge look like by day? Is it nondescript, ugly or quite nice? Does it bug you when people put up signs that will get international attention on things that you don't necessarily want to be seen internationally? (Like maybe barges?).

Hey I looked at your picture bigger to see if I could see the barge better, but couldn't. I did, however, discover that we can see into one of the apts and was wondering if anyone could guess teh (that one was for you Siobhan) painting on the wall. I'm really fishing for prizes here Daniel. I'm also really glad ugly, naked guy doesn't live there.

I couldn't really see the barge all that well before it got dark, but I don't think it's too objectionable - just your average, industrial looking barge. Seems they're moving it around each day - it wasn't in my line of sight today. Unless they just forgot to anchor it...
Naked guy is on the other side of our office.
Thanks Daniel. That sets my mind at ease. I hate how Canada is often the pit of international jokes.
