Crossing the Fraser river on the way home from Ikea. The flickering of the pickets in the guardrail reminds me of one of my favorite short films, called Spacer, shot at various places around Vancouver in stop-motion, with meticulous composition, creating a fascinating rythm of images. I've watched it a hundred times, and haven't tired of it yet. But that could be just me.

I made it half way through the video and then started to get nauseous. I am a motion sickness kid...sad but true. I'm sure Steve will also watch it repeatedly. He grew up on home videos and bad camera work. (Not that this video is bad camera work, just that it has the same effect on me.)

Did you use the word mesmerizing? Hmmm, no - yay! - that was awesome (the video, not your failure to use 'mesmerizing). I have a feeling... I will be watching many times. At first I was confused at what was happening in the stop motion, but when you get it, it really kicks it into awesome (as the saying goes?)
Thanks for the link!
