Comedy Festival

For one reason or another, we ended up down at the "Quartier des spectacles" (where a lot of the many festivals are centered) three nights in a row last week. The "Just for Laughs" comedy festival is happening there this week, and there are a bunch of street entertainment shows going on. We enjoyed some of the acrobatic shows, and saw the human cannonball fly through the air.

The mascot for Just for Laughs is a little green guy with red horns. They've dressed up the main theatre to look like him!

In the first picture, there are photos of people in the windows on the building in the background--are those pictures always there or are they performers for the festival? Just wondering.

I want to move to Montreal. Looks like there's always lots going on.

They do pack a lot into the summer months - there is a festival of some sort going on most of the time.

Those pictures are there all the time, I believe - they're a bunch of old jazz greats.
