On Sunday, we took the Metro for the first time. It's a system unlike any I've seen before (ok, full disclosure - I've only ridden the Toronto and Vancouver subway lines before). The Montreal trains run on rubber wheels, on concrete tracks. Made for an unusually smooth ride.

The station we got off at is a transfer station, with two trains, one above the other, and quite a large space. I took a shot of the big open space, but a famous person was in the shot, and refused to sign the model release form. We were on our way to the food & produce market, and picked up our supply of spices, and some rasberries & strawberries, whose seasons, sadly, are nearly over. I was too busy ogling the fruit to take pictures.

You're getting pretty good at this, Sheri-Lee! (well, except for the double-posting [sure hope mine doesn't double up])
