Boats and Lights

One of the Vancouver Christmas traditions is the Carol Ships, which are dinner cruise boats and private boats that get all decorated with lights, and go parading along the water. We went down to Granville Island to take a look, but they were not really well organized tonight - they were an hour late, and then there were not that many.

And, as you can see from this photo, I wasn't able to capture them with my camera - the redish streak is one of them going by!

We did enjoy the lights of the city, and Burrard bridge.

And the cement mixer at the concrete plant on the island - they always do a nice job on one of their trucks!
