BLDG #21

This is a maintenance building at the port - it's where they do work on the cargo container cranes and big forklifts, one of which is in front of the big white door. Some of the mobile cranes are visible in the second photo, along with some dramatic sky. We had a mix of rain/sleet/snow/sun/hail/lightning/wind/thunder that lasted about an hour. It was quite something!

I don't know where you were, but Jenn was halfway across the Cambie bridge, holding an umbrella, watching the electricity ricochet around the umbrella ribs, feeling her hair stand up. I think my heart would have stopped. She just said it was awesome.
