EC #27

My ride to work. Can't really tell, but it was dripping wet this morning. As I was leaving home, I thought that the rain seemed a bit on the solid side - Jenn IM'd me just after I got there to tell me that it was snowing!!

And, just because I felt like shooting more today...

My new computer at work! Call me a geek for getting excited about it! It's fast, and quiet.

My view as I got on the elevator to leave. I tried to shoot the skyline of the city beyond the elevator 'cage', but this one where it focussed on the near instead of the far turned out more interesting.

Yes, the snow was a little shocking this morning, computer geek. Thankfully it was brief.

VERY cool elevator shot!

Looks like the side is missing on your CD tower (or CPU - I never know what to call it. Hard drive?). You should ask for your money back.

And what?! A little snow?? That must have been awful for you. ;-[

Just the shiny black box would have been too boring - I wanted to see what's inside! Three honkin' big fans and rubber mounting on everything, is what's inside - thus making it run cool but quiet.

Yeah L, it's always a bit of a conundrum about what to call it - I just default back to 'computer', and leave it at that.

Is it my imagination, or is it a guy thing to like to see the "guts" of the computer? I'm always telling James to cover up his naked computers.

I like the elevator shot, too. It needs an artistic title...

Jim! Yay! You finally left a comment! Now I know you've looked at my blog! That pop gun didn't work, anyway - no big loss.

I was on my own at my Revit class tonight - the instructor was away, and left me in charge. So, I had to photocopy next week's handout. The collator/stapler on the copier was the most ridiculous little piece of crap I've ever had the displeasure of using!! The pages were nowhere NEAR neatly aligned, and the stapler was happy if it got at least most of the pages, with one side of the staple. It was really quite comical, the reaction I got when handing them out. I REALLY should have taken a pic of that!! (Instead you get water bottles.) Anyway, the point of this little ramble is that I was carefully studying the collator/stapler as it was doing its thing, trying to figure out where it was going wrong. I was >< this close to trying to take it apart to check it out further...

Julie, go ahead and make up a suitable title for the pic! (more creative) captions are welcome.
