At least it's not snowing

After yesterday's beautiful weather, we were back to cold and rain today, for the Grey Cup parade. Despite the conditions, there was a great turn-out, with enthusiastic spectators lining the whole route.

We felt most sorry for the kids who had signed up for marching band back at the beginning of school, thinking it would be a good way to spend some nice warm Saturdays.

Calgary had a large contingent, with horses and chuckwagons.

Working my camera with my gloves on resulted in some... artistic interpretations of what we saw - you never know what settings are being changed on the camera!

Lots of Bomber fans and parade participants, of course!

The Bombers' mascot had to stop by the Elephant & Castle for a warm-up. That's the Bombers' headquarters for the weekend.

The rag-tag group of the Official B.C. Lions Fan Club.

And of course, what they're playing for tomorrow! Luckily, under a closed roof.

It's a shame that convertible interior probably didn't have a closed roof. Ahem.

P.S. Way to brave the weather and join in the festivities. :)
