Night-time wandering

My sleep schedule has been rather confused since I got here - half the time it seems I'm on Vancouver time, and half on Montreal.  Makes for evenings that run a bit later than usual.  Last night after I finished dinner around 9pm, I didn't feel much like trying to relax for the evening, so, since I still had some rental time on the Bixi bike, I decided to go for a ride down to the old part of the city.

This is Marche Bonsecour, which was the main public market from 1844 to 1963.  It also housed the Parliament of Canada for the 1849 session.  It is now an upscale art mall.

Our hospital project is one of two super-hospitals being built simultaneously, if you can believe it!  Ours is the English one, and this photo shows the French one.  Ours is bigger, but this one is further along.

This is the continuation of the street that I can see from my hotel - it ends with that big white Christmas tree.

At the office, we have a big touch-screen monitor, to check the drawings.  It's new since I left, and I haven't actually seen anyone using it, but I gave it a little try today - kind of cool!  Also, by popular request, notice my haircut.  Thank goodness I got it cut - I would have run out of hair product before Wednesday!

That big touch screen monitor is impressive. And so is your haircut!
