Colours & Curling

We enjoyed a beautiful day today, and had a good walk through the neighbourhoods, ending up at the Olympic curling facility, since converted to a variety of uses, including a library and a community centre with extensive pool facilities (where Jenn has started going to aquafit), gym, and hockey rink, as well as retaining some of the curling rink for the Vancouver Curling Club (founded in 1912).

The leaves in the eaves caught my eye - like a little fringe above the porch. The colour went well with the bold blue.

We enjoyed watching the curling for a while. And it made me want to give it a try! I'll be looking into that - any curlers out there reading this?

I am not a curler by any means, but I have curled a few times and it was really fun. It's even more fun when you get to wear a kilt. :)

I've curled a couple of times. It's actually quite fun, and I'm kind of embarrassed to admit I was quite sore after playing! Go get em. JIm

I def. like watching curling on TV.
I'd probably get into it if others around me were interested... :)
